Cobalt & Nickel based alloys (non-precious) are used in the dental industry for making dental prosthesis. They are an economical alternative to Gold & Silver based alloys (precious) but perform well due to their mechanical properties and biocompatibility.

Kennametal Stellite™ manufactures a range of Non-Precious Dental alloys via the continuous cast method. We can make alloys to our customers’ own specification or alternatively we can offer a range of our own standard alloys.

Kennametal Stellite manufactures a range of non-precious alloys used in the dental industry. We hold approval in accordance with the medical devices directive 93/42/EEC & ISO 13485:2003 for the manufacture of dental base metal casting alloys.

We are happy to manufacture alloys exclusively to our customers design or we can offer our own range of alloys listed in the table below. Our alloys are made via the continuous casting method and so we can offer them in as cast rod form, ingot form or polished ingot.
