The joint venture between the Deloro Stellite GmbH & Co. and Virgo Consultants Limited of India, which will produce wear and corrosion resistant parts for the needs of the Indian economy, has taken another step toward capitalizing on our agreement. On March 10, after several months of evaluating potential locations, Deloro Stellite and Virgo Consultants LTD (known as Deloro Stellite India) signed a lease for a new production facility. The new plant is located in Maneswar, one of the fast growing suburbs of New Dehli, 30km South of Indira Gandhi Airport. During the next few months, we will utilize the 2,400 square meters of production area to install HettigerTM PTA and JetKote® equipment, as well as several tool machines. The engineering and operations staff for Deloro Stellite India will be trained by the experienced members of our Koblenz, Germany plant this spring, and the facility will be fully equipped and ready for production by the end of October 2008.
Deloro Stellite is a global provider of wear solutions, manufacturing cast or finished machined Investment Castings, Sand Castings, Centrifugal Castings and Resin Shell Castings as well as components made by the Powder Metallurgy process and Stellite® 6B or Stellite®6K Wrought Products.
The company also offers various coating services such as Jet Kote® H.V.O.F.
