STELLITE® 6B is a cobalt-base alloy recommended for handling extreme conditions of wear, abrasion, and heat. It is non-galling, and has a low coefficient of friction. It retains high hardness at high temperatures, and recovers full hardness after exposure to temperatures up to 2000°F. STELLITE® 6B has excellent resistance to oxidation and corrosion, as well as thermal Shock and heat checking. |
